The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica has recently been named the Best New Family Car of 2020 by Good Housekeeping and Car and Driver. This is one of the most coveted industry accolades among minivans and marks the Pacifica’s third consecutive award from Good Housekeeping.
The Pacifica won Good Housekeeping’s Best New Minivan award in 2019, and the Pacifica Hybrid — still the only hybrid minivan on the market — won the Best New Hybrid Award in 2018.
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica won in part because it is the only all-wheel drive minivan with “Stow ‘n’ Go” seating. The new AWD system activates automatically at all speeds, on any difficult terrain.
For 2021, the Pacifica also received 14 new standard safety features, increasing its total standard safety features to a best-in-industry 97. New features include LED headlights and an automatic emergency braking system capable of detecting pedestrians.
The Pacifica Pinnacle trim helps you journey in style, with quilted leather seating across all three rows of seats and two fully movable lumbar comfort pillows in the second row. Meanwhile, a new FamCAM system allows you to use an interior camera system to check on your backseat passengers, including passengers in rear-facing child seats.
“It’s the ultimate pick if you have a large family and tons of gear,” said Good Housekeeping’s Rachel Rothman. “With all the useful features you want, from a flexible interior to top-quality infotainment, it offers unbeatable value.”
