For 80 years, Jeep® has produced extremely capable models for all your off-road adventures. To mark this special anniversary, Jeep® recently announced an exciting new Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package, which made its debut at the 2021 Chicago Auto Show.
The special Jeep® Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package will be available on the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and Rubicon 4-door models, elevating the Wrangler’s capability with a number of modifications and features. In a first for the Wrangler, the package features 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, making it easier to traverse your favorite off-road trails.
The Xtreme Recon Package equips the Jeep® Wrangler with best-in-class measurements thanks to a 4:56:1 axle ratio, 17-inch beadlock capable wheels, and a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks. With all these features, the Wrangler achieves a ground clearance of 12.9 inches, water folding of 33.6 inches, approach angle of 47.4 degrees, departure angle of 40.4 degrees, and breakover angle of 26.7 degrees. If you select the 4:88:1 axle ratio on the Wrangler Rubicon and pair it with a six-speed manual transmission, you can enjoy an industry-first 100:1 crawl ratio for better off-road handling.
The Jeep® Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package will begin production at the Toledo Assembly Plant in August. You can order the package for your favorite Jeep SUV now by calling Ed Murdock CDJR in Memphis, Tennessee!
