New Year’s resolutions: We make them every year, but we don’t always keep them. We’re here with some New Year’s resolutions that will be easy for you to keep in 2019.
Get some sleep
Don’t underestimate the value of a good night’s sleep. Even if you can only get a limited amount of sleep per night, establish a routine so that you’re always going to bed and waking up around the same time. If at all possible, try to get your recommended eight hours of sleep every night.
Set a goal to meditate at least once daily for a few minutes. Meditation not only helps relax you, but it can also help clear your mind and boost your mood. After even a short meditation, you can feel more motivated to get other things done.
Try healthier foods
Instead of making a strict commitment to a new diet, simply make a vow to try new and healthier foods. By trying new, healthy foods, you might find something that you like and then you can work it into your diet gradually.
Find a fun way to exercise
Don’t enjoy jogging? Then don’t do it! Make it your resolution to find a fun way to exercise, like stationary biking while you watch your favorite soap opera or a dance class. This will motivate you to exercise more.
